Check out the special exhibitions Het oog van Jan Veth and the Galatea Kunstprijs 2023 on show at the museum until 3 September. Enjoy not only the art, but also our fun activities. These include making your own portrait in the Jan Veth Studio, and you can talk to some nominated artists of the Galatea Art Prize 2023 during Ask the Artist on 10 June and 7 July.
From 25 June, the new exhibition A room with a view will be on show. Here, six young, international designers show a combination of their own work and objects they chose from the collection of the Dordrecht museums. Curious about this special combination of new and old art? Then be sure to drop by, not only to look, but also to listen and experience. Talk to the designers or take part in a workshop.
Besides the temporary exhibitions, the permanent collection is always on display. This one takes you through six centuries of painting. With the free audio tour, you can explore the collection at your own pace.
The museum is fun for all ages and also good to visit with children, they have free admission up to 18 years old. The free museum dice game is available for them. Answer questions, do assignments and look at art in a new way. You can also take the dice game home, so you can use it in other art museums too.
